Providing this active illumination for your solution we are able to provide different systems, configurations and a variety of colors – and the best the LED light system can be washed* with the garment.

Our Core Technologies

We bring different technologies together to produce a reliable and sustainable system. The main :

Transparent Light Fiber

Our light fiber is a special light-conducting polymeric fiber which, in addition to its capability of guiding the light, also allows controlled light emission from the surface of the lightguide.

In your application the fibre is nestled in a textile cover (piping). The emitting LED as well as the textile cover can give the visible color.

The piping is lightweight, highly flexible, mechanically resistant, washable and easy to incorporate into textile goods

Integrated Semiconductor

The intelligent lighting system with LED sources are powered by a control unit consisting an individual programmable microprocessor, sensors and the power electronics. Microprocessor control enables such functions as prevention of battery overcharging or draining and user mode selection.

All the electronic parts are molded within PVC to enable washability.

Sensors

We can include and customize different sensors based on your requirements. We already able to provide:

  • Capacitive touch with status feedback to customer
  • Environment light level to enable automatic ON/OFF mode
  • User motion to be always ready to illuminate when needed

Also a connection of additional external devices like distance sensor is possible.

System advantages

Extreme Visibility

The lighting system enables 360° visibility when needed. When used according our recommendations, the visibility under suitable conditions (darkness and clear air) exceeds several 100 meters.

Our functions are designed to achieve maximum visibility in continuous mode and maximum warning effect in blinking mode.

Flexible & Waterproof

The lighting system with LED source is highly resistant to rain, snow and wind. Based on the system setup the whole system is washable.

The textile piping is easily sewn into textile garments based on flexibility with radius close to 5 cm.

We can support our individual requests with customized solutions based on core technology building blocks.

So you are able to implement the LED light system as an integral design feature for clothing and accessories. So it is appreciated by both users and clothing designers.
